Your Annelies coach is there to teach you or improve your surfing skills!

Annelies is passionate about surfing and many other sports, she was born in Belgium where she practiced trampoline at a high level and discovered surfing at the age of 16 during a family trip to Soustons.

After her studies in Master in Physical Education she follows her dream and goes surfing, snowboarding and working around the world: Australia, New Zealand, United States, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Morocco, ...

​

Annelies: "Surfing is one of the most beautiful discoveries of my life: the sensations of sliding made me immediately hooked on it; I still vividly remember the first wave that I took offshore!  

Sport and coaching is my life, after my life as a competitor it was so logical to become a sports, surfing and snowboarding teacher".

​

After 10 of traveling and working as a snowboard and surf instructor, she wanted to settle down; After a year as a high school sports teacher in Belgium, the inevitable happened: the ocean called him. She left her job and ended up settling in Seignosse.

​

Annelies: "I had the honor of working with L'Hossegor Surf Club during its first years and 3 years later I am delighted to be able to welcome you to my own school. Coco Surf School is a school that focuses on quality and not quantity! That's why I offer lessons in small groups of maximum 6 people".
